Vitamin A is a very interesting vitamin. It is an animal molecule and does not exist in ANY plant. That’s right, there is no vitamin A in carrots. That is a big fat lie that has been approved by the FDA. Plants contain beta carotene which your body might or might not be able to convert some amount of into real Vitamin A.
