The best presentation I have ever heard on Vitamin D

I have heard Dr. Cannell, Dr. Holick, and many other researchers, give presentations on Vitamin D at many of my scientific conferences. This presentation by Dr. Stasha Gominak on YouTube, is simply the best most complete and most interesting presentation I have ever heard and since even I learned from it, you all need to view it as well. Thank you to my student who made me aware of this video. Warning, it is a bit over an hour long but well worth it. As a side note, I have seen many of the benefits she talks about over the past 15 years as I always forcefully urge my patients to test their D – then supplement – then test D- adjust supplement until they get to their level of 60-80 ng/ml (U.S. levels) or if in a metric country that uses nmol/L instead of ng/ml then the target becomes between 149-199 nmol/L (NOT U.S. Values). The most important thing I learned from Stasha is that we should always test our 25 (OH) vitamin D twice a year (which I have done for the past 4 years since I am in a D research study). That way we can help keep it in range and not let it go too far above or below the healthy range. She also touches on B12 and Magnesium. I find it interesting that of all the experts who have lectured on vitamin D, she is one of the few who uses the same 60-80 range I have been lecturing on and using in my office for well over a decade.
