This is definitely one of the better more objective lectures I have heard regarding global warming. Everyone should watch this, maybe even twice. My main comment regarding global warming or climate change is this: It does not matter whether the climate is changing due to things humans do. The only thing that should matter is whether we should care about our planet. Should we want to continue to pollute our rivers and oceans and streams and air or should we finally decide to try to be nicer to the only planet we have. Should we allow big industry to pollute our planet even though the technology exists to produce less pollution and cleaner pollutants from our factories. Right now, manufacturing plants save money by continuing to pollute our planet, while penalty paying fees and fines for this pollution every year. This is because it is less costly for them to pay the penalty fees than it would be to make the scrubbers which would make their pollution less and less harmful. If the fines or penalties were high enough, they would be forced to make the improvements necessary to reduce their pollution. If auto makers were not in bed with the petroleum industry, they could easily increase the miles per gallon of all of our cars. The technology has been here for a long time. We could even have water burning cars. So let’s forget about climate change and be good to our planet and our grandchildren’s environment. It’s about time we look at it this way and stop arguing.
